August 11 Joslyn Around Town
Art JAM in the Park
10 am-noon

Join Joslyn artist-instructors at The RiverFront (under the canopies at 13th and Farnam St.), for art-making fun every Thursday morning in July and August, 10 am-noon. Inspired by work in the Museum's collections - and the beautiful outdoor setting! - families will enjoy learning simple art concepts and techniques while exploring their own creativity using a variety of media. Art JAM in the Park is free and all ages are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult. The first session will begin at 10 am, and the lesson will be repeated at 11 am. Check the calendar for each week's theme or download a pdf of the flier.

August 11 – Sun Prints – Andy Warhol loved to use photography and printmaking in his artwork. We’ll learn the basic principles of both art forms by creating unique nature prints using plants and the power of the sun!

Art JAM in the Park is a Joslyn Around Town program.
