Open and free to all, the Hispanic Cultural Festival on Sunday, April 26 at 1-3 pm* includes dance and musical performances, art-making activities, gallery conversations in Spanish, and dessert. The Festival is part of a spring semester service-learning project with two levels of the University of Nebraska Omaha's Spanish language classes taught by Dr. Cecilia Tocaimaza-Hatch. Join us!
*This is a drop-in program with the dance and musical performances starting at 1 pm. More details about program's schedule to be posted early April.
This program is in partnership with University of Nebraska Omaha's Service Learning Academy and Department of Foreign Languages and Literature with OLLAS (Office of Latino/Latin American Studies).
The Hispanic Cultural Festival is one of many area community events celebrating 100 Years of Mexican Festivals in Omaha.
