Joslyn’s Art-Based Program for People Living with Memory Loss
Art to Remember gallery talks are designed for small
groups of visitors with memory loss, early-stage Alzheimer’s disease and
related dementias, and their friends or care partners.
Held in the Museum’s galleries on select Sundays at 2 pm,
Art to Remember encourages
participants to discover themselves while reminiscing, reflecting, or
relating their own life stories. All programs are facilitated by Joslyn's experienced docents.
This program is held in partnership with the Nebraska Alzheimer’s Association and sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska.
Space is limited and advanced registration is required five days prior to the event. To register, please contact the Alzheimer’s Association at (800) 272-3900 OR contact Joslyn Art Museum's Director of Adult Programs at (402) 661-3862.
For general information about the program, or to schedule a group visit from an assisted living community apart from this day, please contact Joslyn’s Director of Adult Programs at (402) 661-3862.
