April 13 Opera Omaha's ONE Festival @ Joslyn
11 am-noon

Visit Joslyn's Omaha World-Herald Gallery (gallery 14) to experience Playground, an interactive musical installation by composer Ellen Reid. Museum visitors are encouraged to swing, slide, and explore Playground, commissioned for Opera Omaha's ONE Festival. In addition to conceiving Playground, Reid has composed Run, an original piece of music for voice and sound sculpture that will have its world premiere at Joslyn on March 30. Join us at the following times to take part in "open recess," then watch as the resonant sculpture comes to life for Run. The performance features ONE Festival soloist Naomi Louis O'Connell and International Contemporary Ensemble artists.
