October 13 Drink & Draw
7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Grab your friends and let creativity flow while you sip, scribble, snack, and shop!

Drawing on a variety of creative prompts inspired by Marks of Genius, Drink and Draw offers an informal atmosphere of drawing games and prizes designed to synthesize creative minds and improve technique. Artists of all skill levels are welcome!

Bring your sketchbooks and pencils or whatever your preferred medium; for the less artistically-inclined, we will have drawing materials and supplies on hand. Drink and Draw encourages artists to talk to each other, motivate each other, and maybe even collaborate with each other.  We will provide the rules and a cash bar--you provide the creativity!

Emceeing a portion of the event is professional storyteller Rita Paskowitz. In her search for identity, Rita has been an actress, writer, improvisationalist and stand-up comedienne, working from New York City to Los Angeles. At long last, she found herself as a storyteller simply trying to live up to her hair.

For ages 21 and older, this drop-in event is FREE, however, guests wishing to see the special exhibition Marks of Genius must obtain a ticket. Tickets are FREE for Joslyn members; $10 general public adults; $5 college students with ID (tickets for those with a UNMC student ID are free).
