Bijoux Parisiens features exhibition viewing, French wines, French-inspired hors d'oeuvres, local jewelry designers and shopping, and an 8:00 pm screening of
“Masters of Dreams: The French and Swiss Jewelers” by Guillaume de Ginestel.
MASTERS OF DREAMS explores the intriguing world of jewelry through an intimate look at the artistry and craftsmanship behind some of the most iconic jewelry houses.
Diving into the secret and magical world of legendary French and Swiss jewelry brands,
Masters of Dreams celebrates the sheer magnificence of the industry. From spying on the creative process to watching an item being manufactured, this
documentary captures the development of some of the most extraordinary designs to grace the fashion and art world and provides a glimpse behind the closed doors of brands such as Chaumet, Chopard and Boucheron. The styles, inspirations, metals, precious stones and vast creative approaches are all addressed in this 52-minute episode.

SELECT JEWELRY DESIGNERS
Local artists, who are regularly featured in Joslyn's Museum Shop, will be on hand during the evening to display and discuss their jewelry designs. Special thanks to participating artists, Donna Burdic, Darcy Horn, Lisa Maciejewski, Cheryl Martin, Barb Gallaher, and Rose Rutherford.
FRENCH WINES & HORS D'OEUVRES
A flight of three French wines is included in the prices of this event. Cash bar is available thereafter. Menu items include mini smoked salmon croque-monsieur, provencal vegetable tarts, and gruyère gougères, and other petit nibbles.

This program is $30 for Joslyn members and $40 for general public. Price includes exhibition viewing, one tasting of French wines, hors d’oeuvre buffet, and documentary film screening. Space is limited and
