2019 Jama Gala

Come celebrate on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Joslyn Art Museum's annual JAMA Gala in conjunction with the opening of the exhibition The Art of Seating: 200 Years of American Design. The exhibition presents an exploration of American design from the early nineteenth century to the present day, considering the chair not only as an everyday item but also as the functional sculpture reflecting important artistic, social, economic, political and cultural influences.

The evening opens with a cocktail reception and private Exhibition viewing followed by a gourmet culinary dinner in a beautifully decorated tent outside on the Museum grounds (tent is air-conditioned). Also, enjoy the oral auction of a luxury item and a lively After Hours Party. Formal attire. Valet parking.

Click here to purchase tickets or sponsor a table.

Funds raised from the Gala help support the Museum’s education and outreach programs. For additional details, please contact Janel Sunderland, Membership & Special Events Manager, at (402) 933-8220 or
