Joslyn Art Museum features distinguished paintings by Rembrandt, Titian, Veronese, El Greco, and Claude Lorrain, as well works by noted Spanish and Dutch artists. The Museum is noted for the strength of its nineteenth-century European collection, which includes exceptional examples of Academic paintings by William Adolphe Bouguereau, Jean-Léon Gérôme, and Ernest Meissonier, as well as Impressionist masterworks by Camille Pissarro, Auguste Renoir, and Claude Monet. Joslyn is also home to one of two plaster versions of Edgar Degas' famed sculpture, Little Dancer, Fourteen Years Old.
