Happy World Teacher Day!
In 2020, World Teachers’ Day will celebrate teachers with the theme “Teachers: Leading in crisis, reimagining the future”. The day provides the occasion to celebrate the teaching profession worldwide, take stock of achievements, and draw attention to the voices of teachers, who are at the heart of efforts to attain the global education target of leaving no one behind. We see you.
We support you.
We miss you.

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain,
Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

You may have seen other museums doing this, but now it’s your turn! Recreate your favorite artworks from Joslyn’s collection and post the photos with the tag, #RecreateJoslyn.

Our thanks to art teacher and Joslyn Mentor Teacher, Josephine Langbehn, for submitting her recreation of Eastman Johnson’s Child with a Rabbit (1879).
