Go on a Geological Journey through Middle-earth to find the ring-shaped fossil. Students were inspired by their favorite series, The Lord of the Rings, and created a new adventure for Frodo and Sam. Enjoy!

*Our Lady of Lourdes 7th grade science students created these games, with the guidance of University of Nebraska Omaha geology students and in partnership with UNO’s Service Learning Academy in 2015, 2016, and 2018.

30 Americans: Get the Word Out Podcast

Students from Blackburn Alternative Program visited 30 Americans, on view February 2–May 5, 2019, and shared their thoughts about works they see through the podcast, Get the Word Out as part of a service-learning project. Blackburn students worked in partnership with University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) students from the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders, and this project was under the guidance of UNO’s Service Learning Academy. Click here to revisit 30 Americans.
