It is not uncommon to spot KBMP’s wishbone symbol on car bumpers or windows around town, but lately they have been showing up on actual people. These tattooed heroes aren’t just any people either, they happen to be our much respected alumni. By carrying this powerful symbol into the world, these torch bearers are keeping the dream of artist mentoring alive. These wishbones may be a tribute to program semesters past, but they also represent a future promise to live creatively, be true to yourself, and to share your artistic gifts with others.
I am constantly inspired by our alumni and cannot wait to see their new work featured in our upcoming Wishbone 2015 event on March 27th at Joslyn Art Museum.
