Spend some time in our studios! Come to learn art-making fundamentals, or to expand your knowledge and skills, with inspiration from artworks in the Museum galleries. Drop-in activities, workshops, class series, and camps provide opportunities for everyone—from preschoolers to adults—to explore their own creativity.

Studio Programs

Budding artists as young as age four, plus littler ones with a grown-up by their side, will have fun exploring art materials and techniques in studio programs designed just for them.
Registration will open in August for weekend class series, intergenerational workshops, and Art School and Homeschool Art that will begin in fall.

Kids & Families

Drawing, painting, printmaking, and more. Whether you want to experiment with something new for the first time or dig a little deeper into methods and media you’re already familiar with, The Joslyn has a class for you.
Registration will open in August for class series and workshops that will begin in October.

Teens & Adults

Advance registration and full payment is required for all studio classes and workshops. Classes are subject to minimum and maximum enrollment, so please register at least one week in advance. If you need to cancel, please note our refund policy: 50% refund for cancellations made up to two weeks prior to the class start date; no refunds for cancellations made less than two weeks before a class begins.

Accommodation Requests

Thanks to a special fund established by Mrs. Louise Wickstrum, and the family of David S. and Bella Block, financial assistance may be available for class enrollment. Details about applying for an art class scholarship to come soon.

Scholarships

The Joslyn will occasionally photograph students in classes for use in promotional materials, including the Museum’s website and social media. If you do not want you or your child to be photographed, please notify us in <a href="mailto:saudiss@joslyn.org">writing here</a>.
