Here it comes... Another day of FREE art-making, music, and gallery viewing at Joslyn! This special event is sponsored by Wells Fargo. You may chip in by bringing a non-perishable food item to deposit in a "Shine the Light on Hunger" barrel at the Museum entrance. Free trolley service offered to participating sites.
Winter Wonder-Words: Use an assortment of alphabet stencils and white oil pastels to create an invisible winter-themed message for someone you know. Wondering how to make it show up? Brush a light tempera wash over your paper and watch the letters appear!
Plowing Paint: Forget shoveling the sidewalk, let's plow some paint! Inspired by Mark Tansey's Valley of Doubt, create a chilly landscape by removing layers of paint instead of adding them! Create your winter wonderland by pushing, pulling, and removing the paint with a variety of tools including sponges, stamps, sticks, and brushes.
Performances by Amazing Lindy: Warm up with a little comedy, a few surprises, and the opportunity to participate in a magical performance! 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm
12–1 pm: A cappella performance by The Old Fashions in the Storz Fountain Court
1–2 pm: Ring of Flutes in the ConAgra Foods Atrium
2–3 pm: Tuba Christmas performs in the Witherspoon Concert Hall
