Art Adventures Visits Storytime
Bring your young readers and artists to Omaha Public Library Saddlebrook Branch located at 14850 Laurel Ave. for a free drop-in program combining former favorites, Art Adventures and Story Adventures. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Four sessions will be presented at the Saddlebrooke Branch. Sessions include storytime presented by a librarian, complete with songs and creative movement, plus a hands-on art activity inspired by a Museum work. Art Adventures Visits Storytime is geared toward preschoolers, but all ages are welcome to participate in the fun! For monthly themes and other details, download a pdf of the flier.
January 16: Story Telling
Draw and paint your own story!
February 20: Color & Pattern
Explore shapes, patterns, and mixing colors with paint.
March 19: Animals
Manipulate clay to make an animal sculpture.
April 16: Nature
Try printmaking using real leaves!
