Come late and experience the Joslyn version of the City of Light. Families can practice painting en plein air (out of doors) in true Parisian fashion. As you paint, you will be transported to the streets of Paris by the music of a strolling accordion player! Once you have made your own impressions, come to the Whiterspoon Concert Hall and watch Ballet Nebraska dance Matthew Carter's Bacchanale Variations
. After the performance, practice your dance moves along side the ballerinas during a movement workshop.
For a sweet topper to the evening, stroll to Cafe Durham for a tasting of Impressionist-inspired ice creme, created especially for us by eCreamery Ice Cream & Gelato! Flavors include:
-- Summer Cezanne (lemon lavender)
-- A Piece of Matisse (choc chip & cherries)
-- Renoir Did you Get This Gelato? (Caramel Fleur de Sel)
-- One for the Monet (Pink Peppercorn)
Event admission is payable at the door: Joslyn Members - $5 per person; General Public - $10 per person. Space is limited; advance registration is required.
