This vibrant exhibition from the Dixon Gallery and Gardens, Memphis, traces the most significant developments in French painting that shaped the direction of modern art for more than a century. Renoir to Chagall presents the scenes - from ballet to the boulevard - that made Paris a magnet for nineteenth- and twentieth-century masters, among them Cézanne, Chagall, Degas, Gauguin, Matisse, Monet, Pissaro, Renoir and Toulouse-Lautrec.
