This year Joslyn is pleased to welcome musical guest
The Golden Hour

“The Golden Hour is Ashley Buck (piano/vocals) and Joe Rempe (drums). The couple sees each performance as its own journey. They intend to delight and entertain music lovers with their simple sincerity and enthusiasm. At home in Nebraska, Ashley has quickly become well known for her classical-folksy style keyboard play, and lyrics. As for Joe, his influences range from roots to blues, adding groove to the lyrical plateaus and direction to the meandering melodies. The two songwriters create a musical experience that is truly Americana, dabbling in all forms of traditional musical storytelling: folk and
country, jazz and blues, and of course a little bit of rock and roll. Their live show has been described by many as a calm and uplifting trip.”---Christopher Beiermann, Series Two Records

The Golden Hour, have returned home after an action-packed 24-city tour of the west coast playing a slew of bars, coffee shops, and living rooms from Seattle to San Antonio. The Hot Cocoa Tour which, included San Diego’s indie Pop artist Normandie Wilson, was the group’s 2nd National Tour, but their first experience touring on the west coast. After a month of practicing drums on the steering wheel and playing guitar in the captain’s chair, the group is excited to have some space to practice new material. Despite a busy tour schedule, the group already has plans for a new album. The new tracks will be glittered with special guests and a touch of jazz.
