Joslyn’s Art-Based Program for People Living with Memory Loss
Art to Remember gallery talks are designed for small
groups of visitors with memory loss, early-stage Alzheimer’s disease and
related dementias, and their friends or care partners.
Held in the Museum’s galleries on select Sundays at 2 pm, Art to Remember encourages
participants to discover themselves while reminiscing, reflecting, or
relating their own life stories to the thematic connections revealed in
works of art. All programs are facilitated by Joslyn's experienced docents.
This month's tour: HERstory
By exploring women artists and women's contributions, influence, and significance in the art world guests are inspired to consider the role of important women in their own lives.
