Internships in Museum Education
Interns in Museum Education work closely with the professional staff at Joslyn Art Museum and participate in the ongoing work of the Museum's Criss Center for Education. Applicants for internships in Museum Education should have a strong background in art history or studio art with an interest in art education or careers in the museum profession.

- Development / Membership Intern
Assist with the membership renewal process; researching and gathering information on prospective and current donors; preparation of the business membership drive; preparation for committee meetings; clerical work such as filing, photocopying, mailings, and data entry; and special projects as assigned. Required: high school diploma and some college experience. Preferred qualifications: computer proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point; desktop publishing experience; detail and service oriented. Temporary/part-time (minimum 150 hours required). This is a non-paid internship, but academic credit hours may be received for experience gained.
- Scott EdTech Gallery Intern
(This position is currently filled.)
Assist Museum visitors with educational resources, including Art Packs, computer programs, videos, and books (for sale and for browsing); help evaluate and maintain these materials; and other tasks as necessary.

Up to two internships available for spring 2008.
Work closely with Joslyn's Studio Teaching Specialist, assisting and implementing art-making lessons designed to compliment school group tours and aid in the development of future studio programming.

All Museum internships are non-paid. College credit may be available depending upon the requirements of the university.
