General Admissions:

• $7 adults
• $5 senior citizens (62 and older) & college students (with valid ID)
• $4 age 5-17
• FREE admission for children under age 5 and Joslyn members.
• FREE general admission, Saturdays, 10 am - noon, made possible by a grant from the Peter Kiewit Foundation

(Additional charge for some special exhibitions.)

Group Admissions:

• $5.50 adults
• $4 senior citizens (62 and older) & college students (with valid ID)
• $3 per student for K-12 school groups*
• Joslyn Members part of a group tour are free.

*All Omaha Public Schools groups are free. All 4th grade school groups taking the Native American / Western American Arts tour are free.

Groups of 10 or more receive group rates. All group tours must be scheduled in advance through group sales at Joslyn Art Museum. To schedule a group, e-mail Group Sales or call (402) 342-3300 ext. 206.

Access:

The Museum's regular access information, bulleted below, is listed, however through November 2008, be sure to read the information listed under the red "Changes" headers below for directions due to sculpture garden construction. This information is updated as new details become available.

• Free parking is available in the Parking Garden northeast of the Museum. Metered parking is available on surrounding streets. The northeast Parking Garden is accessible via the Dodge Street entrance drive to the south or the 24th Street entrance drive to the west.

Entrance Drive Changes Effective Through November

Now through November, the Dodge Street entrance drive is closed for work on the water features and other aspects of Joslyn's new sculpture garden. Signage directs vehicles to the 24th Street entrance drive. Also, the drive off of Davenport Street is open during regular Museum hours throughout the Dodge entrance closure as a second point of entry/exit. On Thursdays, July 10, 17, 24, & 31, the 24th Street entrance drive will be closed all day for Jazz on the Green stage set up; use the Davenport Street entrance drive). Both the 24th Street and Davenport entrance drives offer access to the free Parking Garden northeast of the Museum that is fully accessible to the disabled.

Visitors in Need of Special Assistance: Please see "Museum Entrance Changes Effective Through Summer 2008" below to read about a small area of additional parking reserved for visitors in need of special assistance near the temporary accessible entrance on the west side of the Museum.

• Visitors may enter the Museum through the Memorial Building entrance or the atrium entrance of the Scott Pavilion, both located on the east side. Disabled visitors should use the atrium entrance. Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first served basis at no additional charge. The entire Museum is accessible to the disabled. Sign language interpreters are available with three weeks advance notice.

Museum Entrance Changes Effective Through Summer 2008

Through mid-August, the Museum's atrium entrance on the east side of the building is closed for the installation of a revolving door and exterior granite walkway. Visitors may enter the Museum through the doors at the top of the Memorial Building's grand staircase on the east. Visitors in need of special assistance will be directed to an accessible entrance on the west side of the Museum (facing 24th Street) to gain access to the building. Parking reserved for those in need of special assistance will be available at this entrance. Disabled visitors: Entering the Museum campus off of 24th Street, follow the signs and veerimmediately to your right for quickest access to the temporary parking area and accessible west entrance. If you enter the Museum's Parking Garden via Davenport Street, there is parking there for those in need of special assistance and signage to direct you to the accessible west entrance.

Throughout the construction period, there will be no access from the base of the grand staircase. A side walkway to the staircase landing will be used by visitors to reach the second tier of stairs leading directly to the Memorial Building entrance.

When the atrium entrance reopens, the Museum's Memorial Building entrance (at the top of the grand staircase on the east) will close as further construction of the exterior granite walkway to the atrium entrance extends east and blocks access to the grand staircase. Visitors, including disabled visitors, may enter the Museum through the atrium entrance on the east side of the building.

Follow Abbott Drive to downtown Omaha

Take exit 454 on the right (13th Street)
Turn right at the top of the ramp, onto 13th Street, and follow it toward downtown
