Music
Joslyn Art Museum presents a variety of concerts throughout the year, including the outdoor summer jazz concert series Jazz on the Green and a festive choral and instrumental series Holiday Under Glass, held in December.
Joslyn Art Museum celebrates 25 years of Jazz on the Green |
From 1985 to 2008, more than 545,000 people — over one-half million guests of all ages — have relaxed, reveled, and shared in the music and community of the series. From the east lawn, looking south, then facing the grand staircase, then, last year, temporarily moved north to the Museum's future Discovery Garden site, and back again, to the new Peter Kiewit Foundation Sculpture Garden, crowds have gathered outside on Joslyn's campus to begin their weekends early.
Come again in 2009!
